Soulsavers- Revival

i am posting this because it is a striking video that compliments the song. i like the song, but i wouldn’t feel it ‘crack’ worthy were it not for the accompanying video. the director does a commendable job of capturing and enhancing the drama inspired by the organs, the choir, and mark lanegan. i must admit i like that the artist isn’t splayed all over the screen. i prefer when the song is featured more than the person who made it. i understand that the video is a marketing tool and it’s good business to allow people to see you, but i feel a special attraction to the videos that go in the other direction. now, i don’t like all videos that don’t center on the artist. for example, i have yet to see a tool video i like, despite how much i like their music. stated simply, i feel this video did a good job of featuring the music. blah blah blah. enjoy.
