Cassette Kids - Acrobat

Cassette Kids is a pop/rock group originating from Australia. Other than that, there really isn’t much known about the group being that they are pretty new on the music scene. From the little that I’ve read about them, they’ve built up quite a reputation playing in numerous music venues in Australia and have opened for bands such as Crystal Castles, The Tings Tings, and soon, Lily Allen. Based on this, you know they are a group not to be dismissed. What makes Cassette Kids stand out is Katrina Noorbergan’s voice, which is deeply infectious, and the great beats the band comes up with.

Cassette Kids has a seven track EP entitled We Are. It isn’t bad and has furthered my interest in the group. One of my favorite songs from the EP is Acrobat, a great dance track that captures what Cassette Kids are about. You can also see a video for another single, You Take It, here.
