The Kills- Last Day of Magic
i really like these two. the kills are yet another group i’ve meant to post about for some now. i was reminded by the placebo song a few posts down. w (the female vocalist) appeared in placebo’s video for the song ‘meds.’ i took a flyer on them a few years ago on the strength of an album sample i heard in a bookstore. they make music that’s both dirty and direct. i think they do a wonderful job of projecting that image in their live shows and their videos as well. both w and hotel are cool, yet both are slightly gross. you see the same thing in this video- great song and two stylish yet mildly disgusting people in a shady environment. good times all around. enjoy.
