this is a cover of an old smiths songs. you can listen to the original here if you’re interested. so, zac is no morrisey, but that isn’t a bad thing. he brings his own operatic drama to the table. and i like what they did with the music. they’ve given the song a bit of an edge. it’s more urgent. it’s a little sinister. it makes the lyrics ‘let me get my hands on your mammary glands’ sound more like ‘gimme your bewbs and let’s do some heroin!’ who wouldn’t want that? enjoy.
