Muse- Micro Cuts
man oh man, i love this song. i really dig the focus on the bass/drum rhythm during the verses. kinda throws the guitar picking in the background, making it more of an ambient sound than a main instrument. but by far, my favorite aspect of this tune has got to be the vocals. i mean, is this guy serious? these vocals are the definition of over-the-top. and yet, they fit so beautifully within the song. sometimes it sounds like he’s about to burst from pushing so hard on those notes. good stuff.
