Thievery Corporation- So Com Voce
thievery corporation are two djs(?), producers(?) from washington, dc. these well-dressed gentleman make an ecclectic brand of music. it’s a large reason why i like them. they’ve done bossa nova, dance music, (for lack of a better term) world music, samba, you name it. this is one of my favorite thievery corporaion songs. it has a wonderful vibe to it. it’s the type of song that brightens my day no matter how dim it may be. it’s a bit short, but i can live with that. if you like this, you should check out their other albums. i recommend ‘songs from the thievery hi-fi’, ‘mirror conspiracy’, and ‘the richest man in babylon’. if you happen to be in dc, you can check out their swanky little night spot in dupont circle. it’s called the 18th street lounge. that way, you can get the whole thievery corporation experience. enoy.
