Willie Hutch- Sunshine Lady

what the hell is going on with don cornelius?????? i don’t understand! is his hair like that on purpose?? this is too much….

fortunately, mr. hutch did his thing here. this is a laid back ladykiller here. the bassline is magic, the vocals are soulful, and there are a whole bunch of beautiful brothers and sisters doing their thing. what more can you ask for. if you haven’t heard of willie hutch, you should check him out. i only heard a few of his songs, but they’ve all been great. hip-hop producers love the guy. he’s been sampled on a few big hits recently. the more famous of the two that come to mind most readily is ‘i choose you’ by ugk. the song ‘tell me why our love turned cold’ was sampled to create ‘stay fly’ or ‘stay high’, whatever it is, by three six mafia. i say that to say you’ve probably heard his music without realizing it. i assure you he has quite a few gems to choose from including ‘i choose you’ and ‘brother’s gonna work it out.’ enjoy.
