Smashing Pumpkins- Tonight, Tonight
not so long ago, i was a huge smashing pumpkins fan. now, i rarely listen to them. i decided to give them a listen the last time i perused my collection, and i discovered the love is still there. the pumpkins make glorious, over-the-top music and even more dramatic videos. they range from dark and angsty to bouyant and effervescent. after i watched a few of them, i had to post one. i considered ‘stand inside your love’, ‘disarm’, ‘ava adore’, and this one. i chose ‘tonight, tonight’ because it is a bit more uplifting than the others, and because the video and song work well together (and there’s a bit less posing for the camera.). i think any choice would have worked, though. they’re all great songs. enjoy.
