this one goes out to the ladiiieeessssss! allow me to explain. i had a wonderful weekend. i was fortunate to have several visitors, all of whom were women. to appease them, i tried to make sure my home was stocked with what i called ‘girl-friendly’ items. i went a step further and created a girl-friendly playlist. i perused my limited musical collection and identified a measly 14 songs. with a bit of searching and a little compromise, i took the total to an overwhelming 20 songs. were my gal pals impressed? i don’t know. they said i did a pretty good job, but it was clear i didn’t wow them. i tried, though. i did. this song was one the late additions to the girl-friendly playlist. i thought it was worth a shot because (1) it’s a good song, and (2) it was on the ‘love jones’ soundtrack. if that didn’t justify a place on the list, nothing would. so, as i said before, this one goes out to all the ladies of the world…even the lady-man ladies. enjoy.
