go team sweden! i first heard of these guys when they played with tool a few years back. i actually missed their set, but the guys from tool had nice things to say about them. i decided to check them out. i liked their music’s complexity. i like how they, like tool, had fun with time signatures. and it was heavy. me like heavy. for some reason, though, i didn’t really explore their catalog. that was seven years ago. i didn’t think about them until tonight when i ran across this video. this song is great. i’ve listened to it and watched the video at least three times in the last hour. i now feel i should invest time in listening to more of their music. meshuggah formed in 1987, so i have a lot of listening to do. it should be fun. enjoy.
