Patti Smith- Horses
his head against the lockaaaaaaa! skip about 32 seconds in to enjoy this equine goodness. this is one of the more random vids i’ve posted. i say that because i know nothing about patti smith other than she’s been around for a long time. i know that she’s garnered respect among many circles because of her poetry, art, and music. that’s it. the only song i’ve heard, other than this one, is ‘because the night.’ i don’t like that song. so, here i was searching for music by the velvet underground when i see her in the sidebar. i’d heard of her and always said i’d check her out, but i hadn’t done it. for some reason i went for it this time. i played ‘horses’, and what do you know? i think this is a great performance of an ok song. she’s really into it and that helps sell the material. the next guy named johnny i meet is gonna get it. enjoy.
