i was having a hard time deciding what to post. i really was. initially i wanted to post an aria. i decided against that. then i wanted to post something by either billie holiday or nina simone. i decided against those as well. but then i was struck by inspiration. i thought i’d dig up some koko taylor. i am extremely pleased with my decision. this is a great song. she really goes all in when she sings this song. it’s almost as if she’s singing to an audience that has somehow made her angry. kinda like how teddy p. spends so much time yelling at people in his songs. strangely it works. it works really well. i hope you like it.
