Hot Leg- Cocktails
i was more than a little upset when i heard that the darkness had broken up. i mean, bands like that don’t come around often. hilarious and they rock? pretty rare. thankfully, justin hawkins got his act together and formed a new band - hot leg. so i was going to mention why i think this is humorous and that i think justin is a actually a very good guitarist but then my mind started to wander. i started wondering how much of their time is spent ‘in character’? do they just act/dress like that for shows, whenever they’re in public or do they live it? i mean, it wouldn’t seem as funny if you knew they put on a nice pair of slacks and a polo shirt right after they left stage. when you go to that level just for a laugh it starts sounding a little stressful. made me start thinking about christian bale’s character in the prestige. kinda-sorta on the same page.
