Maxwell- This Woman’s Work (Unplugged)

it’s funny that this is one of my favorite maxwell songs, but not one of my favorite kate bush songs. go figure. i watched this video recently because i wanted to see if that falsetto (it probably isn’t falsetto, but i’m sticking with it anyway) he hits during this song was digital. for some reason i didn’t think he’d manage to get and stay up there. i’d heard plenty of male singers climb into the higher reaches of the vocal range, but his voice was so clear, strong, and…pretty. i had to see it for myself. the performance proved well worth the trip down memory lane. so, hail hail to maxwell for his talent and for introducing me to kate bush however many years ago. i’ll probably post something of hers in the near future. she’s great. enjoy
