i’ve often been told that i have some odd stuff in my music library. i don’t really feel that way. honestly, i feel i have a rather boring sonic palette. everything i listen to seems so…conventional. except these guys. i have no idea what turned me onto them. i think the first songs that really got my attention were ‘2-4’ and ‘come into our room.’ this song took a while to grown on me. now it’s one of my favorites. actually, i think the band’s appearnace got my attention before anything else. it was strange to see a group of guys wearing scrubs and clinical masks during a performance. pig masks? ok. prison jumpers? whatever. sparkly liatards and spiky boots? yawn. scrubs, though? that was different to say the least. their music struck me that same way. it’s a little different from what i usually listen to. it’s great stuff. enjoy.
