ms. badu is one of my favorite artists. don’t be surprised if you hear from her again. ‘didn’t cha know’ is one of my favorite songs on what, to date, is probably my favorite badu album. the first time i heard this song i was blown away. i must have played it a million times. it’s funny that i was a little trepidatious about the album. i liked a lot her songs, but i wasn’t sure if i was ready to commit to her and claim i was a fan. of course, all my concerns were set aside when the album began. i’ve remained a fan for a long time now, and hope she plans to make music for years to come. enjoy.
