Nirvana- You Know You’re Right
i’ve talked about urgency before on the blog, about how some songs seem like they’re in a crazed rush to the end, or they make me feel as though i have to get on board before i miss the action. it’s as though something is happening now. this song is an interesting one because the urgency is there, but it as obvious to me than in other songs. it’s something that burns in the background behind the menacing tone mr. cobain uses or the bombastic chorus. i like it because if feels as if something is lurking behind the music. of course there are more obvious reasons to like this song, but many of those are present in other nirvana songs. i chose this song on this day because i can feel something lurking. i hope it’s as great as this song is. enjoy.
