Lady Gaga - Captivated/Electric Kiss

I’ve been putting off posting something by Lady Gaga for sometime because I just had no clue of what to post. I mean…the girl is weird. Really weird. Sometimes I watch her and think “what the hell is going through her head”. And sometimes I watch her and think…wow.

I mean…she is talented as hell. Child piano prodigy…composes her own music…amazing voice. She catches your attention and you don’t wanna look away. For more reasons then her crazy outfits. All that said…I still couldn’t pinpoint WHY I liked her past the theatrics.

Then I ran across this video of a 2005 talent show she performed in at NYU and it cemented why I like Lady Gaga. She’s talented. Not one dimensional “look-at-me-I-can-hold-a-note” talented but real deal talented. Like..Michael Jackson / Prince / Alicia Keys talented. Like…she isn’t just a singer…she’s a musician.

Now…don’t get it twisted. I ain’t saying she’s on any of their levels. What I am saying is that she has all of the makings to get on their level. And thats not a statement I make lightly. I think she has a lot to offer so I hope she stays around for a while (without getting to creepy - did you SEE the paparazzi video?).
