trife has long been a member of ghostface killah’s crew theodore unit. he’s dutifully helped out out shows, provided guest verses, and ridden for the team. in all that time, he hasn’t really put out any albums. he and ghost did ‘put it on the line’ a few years ago. last summer, he finally released ‘better late than never’. heard of it? probably not. well, this song (he does the second verse) was featured on the mixtape titled ‘the project pope.’ it’s solid. i haven’t heard the album yet, but i’m sure it’s solid as well. so, if you like this song, it’s safe to say you should check out his other material. over the years he’s shown he has a great chemistry with ghost, but, more recently, he’s also shown he can stand on his own two feet. enjoy.
