Does VH1’s behind the music still come on? They used to have some great stuff on that show. Watching that show in high school is how I got turned onto John Mellencamp and Journey. That show is the reason why I know John married a super model half his age in the 90s and why I refuse to go see a live Journey show (loooooooong story but essentially, I’m angry about how they dissed my man Steve Perry who is THE sound of Journey). If I’m not mistaken - John and the hottie are still together. Go Team John!
Anywhooooo…this is one of my standard oldie’s but goodies. I love this picture of him because it’s exactly how I picture him in my mind. If you’re reading this Mr. Mellencamp - I’d love to sit in a bar with you and shoot the breeze.
