This is my favorite song by the Dave Matthews Band. For a long time I was determined to hate them because someone that I absolutely despised adored them. I mean…obnoxiously so. I had never heard the band when I first became stuck living to this individual but she did plaster Dave Matthew posters all over our room. From that day forward I vowed to never give this band a chance.
And a few years passed and I forgot about the gross roommate and came across this song. And it was love at first listen. It Is wistful and sweet and dreamy. It is a sentiment that I would melt to hear:
“where you are…is where I want to be”
*sigh*
