Hercules & the Love Affair - Time Will
when i first picked up this album it hit me hard, i loved it. the only review i saw for it said that it was good. i was too lazy to really read the article i just wanted to hear the music. then after i really started enjoying the album i startred reading reviews talking about how you would need to understand antony hegart’s adrogynous sounding voice. i really didn’t understand what the hell they were talking about. antony just sounded like a dude with a wild cabaret style voice. he definitely didn’t sound anymore like a woman then sylvester (who really blew my mind when I found out that ‘over and over’ was sung by a guy). it really wasn’t until i went to find a picture for this post that i started to understand what people were talking about. that really goes to show you how much others written words and thoughts can effect your feelings about music. sometimes it’s good to just listen to something raw with no other real opinions to form your own…. i guess that’s an odd thing to say on a blog where we specialize in giving our thoughts about songs. so…. do that for everything else you listen to lol.
pick up this album when you get a chance it goes through a lot of different styles and overall it’s just a great album. i love it.
all the lyrics sites were completely wrong on this song and i can’t really make out what he’s saying, so… no lyrics today. sorry.
