Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven

For those of you that are like me, I sometimes have a lot of difficulty finding the proper words when someone close is going through a hard time. There are the standards: Things happen for a reason. Time heals all wounds. You’ll be ok.
But truth of the matter is sometimes we’ll never know the reason. Time might heal the wound but leave a scar. And sometimes you never know if you’ll be ok. This is one of the reasons art exists. - whether it be music, poetry, painting or something else. It helps us express those emotions we can’t quite convey at times.
Today’s post is dedicated to B. I know that you love music in all forms and I hope this helps just an ounce. You and your family will continue to be in my thoughts & prayers.

Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven
I’ll find my way, through night and day
Cause I know I just can’t stay
Here in heaven
Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please
(instrumental)
Beyond the door
There’s peace I’m sure.
And I know there’ll be no more…
Tears in heaven
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven
Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven
