Jazzanova - Look What You’re Doing to Me (ft. Phonte)

hi again, it’s been a minute.  it’s me schwing.  i was a victim to hard drive failure, external hard drive case breakage, and optical drive failure.  so… i haven’t really been able to post in a while.  so i decided to do a small series over the next few days entitled, “why the hell did i miss the Winter Music Conference AGAIN.”  for those of you that don’t know WMC takes place in miami every year at the end of march and features a ton of parties with some of the greatest dj’s in the game right now.  the reason i get pissed so much about missing WMC because a lot of these dj’s and artists hardly ever come to the US to perform.  so with this series i will be posting some of my favorite songs from artists at the conference and some of my favorite dance music in general.

each year at WMC there is a party called jazzanova v. bugs in the attic.  this is exactly the party that pisses me off every year.  so today i’m posting a jazzanova track and there will probably be a lot of bugz in the attic and affiliates songs coming up.

‘look what you’re doing to me’ is the first track on Jazzanova’s latest album ‘of all things.’  it features phonte from little brother who has really been working his ass off and showing his vocal abilities over the last couple of years.  he has a nice subtle voice that fits in perfectly with jazzanova’s production.  and the song has doo doo doo’s, i’m sorry any song with doo doo doo’s is automatically a favorite of mine.  i love that type of stuff, probably relating to my all things muppet’s love. the song is a simple one about a guy getting caught up with his intense growing feelings for someone.  no lyrics unfortunately, but enjoy.
