T-Bone Walker- Don’t Throw Your Love On Me So Strong

i don’t know why it took me so long to discover this guy. he influenced many of the blues musicians i know and like; he performed with those same musicians; he wrote one of my favorite blues songs; and he is fairly well know within blues circles. i didn’t know any of that, of couse, until after i stumbled across him on youtube. i was watching a video bobby blue bland or b.b. king (foreshadowing!) performing live and mr. walker was playing guitar. he performed admirably, so i thought it worth my time to look into his work. i found this video during that process. there’s much to like about it: the song, mr. walker’s look, his voice, his guitar (the actual instrument), his ability to play the guitar; and his showmanship. i am sorely disappointed that i didn’t discovered him sooner. that is yet another reason i am happy to share him with you. enjoy.
