Little People - Breath Again (feat. Rachael Roberts)

Little People is (I think Swiss) producer Laurent Clerc’s pseudonym for his instrumental project Mickey Mouse Operation. The album is a couple years old now and is the only material available under the Little People moniker besides some free songs you can download from the Little People website (linked above). I’m always looking for instrumental/”trip-hop” projects and there’s a lot of great stuff out there, from the king himself DJ Shadow to Massive Attack, from Cut Chemist to RJD2. The work on Mickey Mouse Operation is some of the best available in my opinion and the song above is the only song on the album with actual lyrics. Rachael Roberts provides us with the vocals and I bring her up not just because she’s on the song but her album Quietude is also an album worth listening to. Her MySpace page is linked above so that you can check out some of her songs. Both albums, Mickey Mouse Operation and Quietude, are chilled the fuck out. You can get the Mickey Mouse Operation for $5.99 on iTunes which is a bargain and a half and definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already.
