I was surprised to come home from work and see that no one posted a song paying homage to the cannabis plant on Daily Crack today. Maybe I’m the only one who’s come home blazed out of my mind at 3AM and sat on my bed watching Duncan Checks In debating for twenty minutes whether or not I should get up and make myself a sandwich. I haven’t smoked in years but that’s not going to stop me from posting The Beatnuts’ Contact. I’ve been looking for a reason to post this song and now here’s my opportunity. If you’re from Queens you know who the Nuts are: Psycho Les and Juju, heavy samples, and silly cliche thug party lyrics. You’ve probably heard them playing in a smokey pool hall or basement somewhere. 4/20 is a corny day where kids that are still in school smoke themselves stupid but for a person with a healthy addiction to THC, it’s just another day. Either way, The Beatnuts have provided you with a nice soundtrack to burn to.
